What we are doing
Preserving today’s wildlife for tomorrow’s future

Giving wildlife a chance

Predatory cats are prolific with frequent sightings of Leopard, Cheetah, Serval and Caracal. Our greatest success story however, is that of the 6 White rhino introduced in 1996, all have now bred successfully. One has reproduced twice and Ol-Suswa (the first calf born in the sanctuary) has now had her own calf. With 3 births in 2007 alone, the total is now up to 13 White Rhinos, and this is just the beginning.

All profits generated from tourism are dedicated to the conservation of the Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary and game corridor, the wildlife it supports and the sustainability of surrounding communities.

The Oserian Game Corridor is one of the last remaining of its kind, allowing free passage of game, from Mt. Longonot and Hells Gate National Parks to the lake front and pastures beyond.
