June Zwager has always had a reputation for making amazing food. Through the years, the lodges’ chefs have been lucky enough to have spent time with her in her kitchens learning her secrets. All our chefs have been home-grown much like our ingredients.
We take pride in our food, believing it to be a crucial part of an enjoyable stay with us. Our own vegetable patch grows much of the herbs and veggies we use day to day and our Jersey cow herd produce the most sinful cream for our homemade ice cream and desserts. Any ingredients we need to source are chosen with care and only come from the best farms. We believe in good, honest food that is full of flavour and is inspired by our local cuisine fused with ideas from the global world of food. Our menus are exciting, ever changing with the seasons and enjoyed by everyone.
